As a part of textile solutions, TURAG knitting unit was founded in 2008. Initially it was started with 14 machines only, the company developed over time to produce more fabric with the great inspiration and demands by all respected buyers. Then the modern knitting plant with 36 more machines was launched with production sites in Gazipur zone. Now the company is producing various kinds of supreme quality knitted fabric for different clients, as a result, over the year a strong business relationship has been built up with many international renowned clothing brands. The total setup was followed by latest technologies, environment friendly and energy efficiency.

The dyeing and processing unit was established in 2008 with the capability of dyeing; cotton, polyester, viscose, tencel, silk and the blended items. It has installed SEDO MASTER CONTROLLER and the latest green machine SLITTING for recycle enzyme process which added special value in our dyeing quality phenomenon. Further to augment more capability it is equipped with the latest laser engraving, design and color matching to achieve superior result in consistent color shade that meets the up-to-date requirement of all fashionable brands.

The finishing unit was also formed in 2008 with a sufficient capacity. It is designed to be entirely versatile, handling fabrics ranging from 20 grams p. sqm to 450 grams p. sqm as ready-to-dye, dyed or printed product. It has the most efficient branded machine LAFER compactor and LAFER brushing to get highest efficiency in production.

TURAG Garments with a single unit was established in 2001 with 34 machines on airport road in the capital city of Dhaka. Then it has since moved to Turag’s combined facility in own land wit 3, 14,066 Sqft multistoried production site on Panshail, Gazipur.
Visioning to serve worldwide renowned brands, with a total of over 2,465 machines production lines were designed following all types of social compliance requirement. Due to the rampant growth of successful business performance along with customers’ loyalty and trust, further expansion of production capacity was highly demanded by the buyers, therefore, the company possessed 3 more units; Kimberly Fashions (woven), Dress & Ideas (knit), and WE Textile (product development). All sewing floors are well-equipped and constructed with all constituent facilities in order to ensure the excellence of garment manufacturing processes.

Having in-house printing facility, TURAG has become self-contained in garment production. In May 2010, it started printing operation. Further to enhance total capability, digital and rotary printing facilities are under process to be launched within next year.

To enhance the capability for one-stop-solution with strong backward linkage, TURAG started embroidery unit in 2019. The factory in-houses a total of whopping 5 production machines offering different categories of embroidery services. At the facility, all the machineries are originated from Japan. To adapt to the current upmarket embroidery requirement from buyers, TURAG has plan to invest on modern new machines.

A dynamic movement of TURAG in 2016, was to configure the co-creation business model that helps to grabbing the contemporary world fashion concept and significantly contribute to the forecasted trend analysis and development. This in-house design team has extensive technical knowledge and professional approach to develop cost effective product of new innovations.
The activities and functions of our design team are focused by new challenges of research. It organizes the work plan considering 4 seasons in year.
